Business frameworks offer great opportunities of communication between people for working on the enterprise system engineering processes, as well as for eliciting services that the enterprise can offer in collaboration contexts. However, these kinds of frameworks, such as Resource-Event-Agent and Open-edi, recently unified in Open-edi Business Ontology (OeBTO), lack formal representations. This fact considerably limits their use in system development, particularly in model-driven development methods where the efficiency of transformations is of great importance. In this paper we suggest a formalization of OeBTO using OMG’s standard Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR), as a method for creating a service-centric business model. This makes it possible to provide the necessary formal logic foundation to allow automatic processing of the business model and its transformation to a system-level service model. An example from the bank loan business sector is used to argument the application of the method

Modern organizations need to be sustainable in the presence of dynamically changing business conditions, which require from Information Systems (IS) to address complex challenges for being able to support organizations acting in varying business conditions – changing customer demands, new legislations, new customers, and emerging alliances. From a technical perspective, the gap between business requirements and supporting IS is still present, mostly due to the fact that current IS development approaches operate with artifacts defined on a relatively low abstraction level. To go beyond the state of the art, IS development frameworks used by enterprises need to be structured for solving emerging problems, and enterprises need to have efficient methods for the use of these frameworks to deliver the right IS solutions just-in-time and just-enough. The notion of capability emerged in the beginning of the nineties in the context of competence-based management, military frameworks, and developing organization’s competitive advantage – linguistically, it means the ability or qualities necessary to do something.

© 2020, University of Kragujevac, Faculty of Science. All rights reserved. Rotavirus is the most common cause of acute infectious diarrhea in infants and young children up to the age of five. The disease is characterized by profuse watery diarrhea, vomiting and fever. The major complications of rotavirus gastroenteritis (RVGE) are dehydration, middle ear inflammation and upper respiratory tract infection. The basis of treatment is compensation for fluid loss and administration of probiotics. The aim of this study was to analyze the clinical characteristics of rotavirus gastroenteritis in infants. The study was conducted by the type of retrospective-prospective clinical study on infants with rotavirus gastroenteritis diagnosed on the basis of a positive Rotalex test (Orion Diagnostica Finland) and exclusion of other etiological factors at the University Children's Clinic in Belgrade, from April 2005 to December 2010. In addition to the detailed medical history and clinical examination, relevant laboratory analyzes were performed in all patients. Descriptive and analytical statistical methods were applied in the study. Among the descriptive methods, we used grouping, tabulation, graphing, calculating measures of central tendency, calculating measures of variability and calculating relative numbers. Of the analytical statistical methods, distribution normality testing, χ2 test, Mann-Whitney U test and T test were used. Statistical significance will be taken to mean p < 0.05. The average infant mortality was 6.7 ± 3.7 months. All respondents were divided into two groups according to the age. The first group consisted of infants aged 0 to 5 months (46%), the second group consisted of infants aged 6 to 12 months (54%). The incidence of aqueous diarrhea (100%), vomiting (84%) and fever (74%) in infants suffering from rotavirus gastroenteritis was analyzed. The significance of the age on the symptomatology of rotavirus gastroenteritis as well as on the importance of using probiotics has been demonstrated

This paper investigates the differences that exist between a 3D and a 4D ontology. We examine these differences by comparing both ontologies through the metaphysical choices each ontology makes and explore the composing characteristics that define them. More specifically, the differences between the ontologies were illustrated through several modeling fragments that were derived from a modeling case presented at the 5thOntoCom workshop. Each of these modeling fragments focused on the metaphysical choices that the ontologies make –Essence and Identity, Relationships and Time. These comparisons highlighted the different ontological approaches and structures that exist between the ontologies. Moreover, depending on the ontology, the resulting conceptual model could differ substantially, confirming the impact and importance of the choice of a certain ontology. The observed differences between both ontologies eventually led us to formulate three discussion points that question the applicability of certain metaphysical choices in certain circumstances, and that can serve as a basis for future discussion or future research studies in the domain of ODCM

The objective of this study was to evaluate antifungal and antioxidant activities of vegetable extracts (Capsicum annuum L. cv. Dora, cv. Strizanka, cv. Morava), grown in Serbia. Different experimental models have included the determination content of total phenolics, total flavonoids, antioxidant capacity and minimum inhibitory concentration of the extract. The phenolic composition of different extracts was determined by the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. The highest amounts of phenols and highest antioxidant capacity were found in the cultivar Dora extracts. The highest phenolic content has been shown in cultivar Strizanka ethanol extract. All of the extracts showed strong antimicrobial activity. On the basis of the results obtained, the extracts were found to serve as a potential source of natural antioxidants and antimicrobial due to their marked activity. The obtained results may be useful in the evaluation of new dietary and food products.Key words: High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), phenolic components, antimicrobial activity, antioxidant activity

Data-driven agile requirements elicitation through the lenses of situational method engineering

Ubiquitous digitalization has led to the continuous generation of large amounts of digital data, both in organizations and in society at large. In the requirements engineering community, there has been a growing interest in considering digital data as new sources for requirements elicitation, in addition to stake-holders. The volume, dynamics, and variety of data makes iterative requirements elicitation increasingly continuous, but also unstructured and complex, which current agile methods are unable to consider and manage in a systematic and efficient manner. There is also the need to support software evolution by enabling a synergy of stakeholder-driven requirements elicitation and management with data-driven approaches. In this study, we propose extension of agile requirements elicitation by applying situational method engineering. The research is grounded on two studies in the business domains of video games and online banking. The work presented in this paper is partially funded by the DOGO4ML Spanish research project, PID2020-117191RB-I00.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

Climatic conditions provide growing cucumbers Serbia as an open field and in greenhouses. Growing in greenhouses makes it possible to fruits of cucumber from domestic production on the market for almost the entire year. This capability dramatically increases the economic efficiency and thereby directly encouraged producers to cultivation of this plant species. Markets directly affected the characteristics of the fruit cucumbers that will be desired. This trend breeding companies must follow in order to offer farmers varieties that corresponds to preferences market. Also, farmers want high yield. The yield of cucumber is directly dependent on the expression of sex type plants. Takođe, proizvođači zahtevaju i visok prinos. Prinos kod krastavca direktno zavisi od tipa polne ekspresije biljaka
